Criminal Justice Link Worker - Reconnect & CSTR
18-24 hours, ideally between 10-2 flexible hours available, Milton Keynes
About the role
C2C Social Action supports people at any stage of the criminal justice system with an aim of reducing reoffending.
We are recruiting an enthusiastic person to join our team to assist in the delivery of the RECONNECT and CSTR Project in partnership with NHS England, MKTT, ARC, The Probation Service and a number of other statutory and third sector agencies.
You will work closely with the Milton Keynes team manager and colleagues to deliver high quality holistic support to adults (predominantly male) leaving the prison estate and individuals sentenced to a community order with a Mental Health Treatment Requirement (both male and female) with varying health care needs, mental health difficulties, domestic abuse, substance misuse, debt and homelessness.
The post holder will be required to conduct screening assessments for court, work with service users to identify areas of need, deliver 1-1 and group work sessions, work collaboratively with other agencies, ensure excellent record keeping and time management, be an active part of a team and managing your own workload through independent work.
