Centre Assistant
Northampton Women's Centre - 15hrs - 2 Vacancies
About the role
C2C Social Action supports people at any stage of the criminal justice system with an aim of reducing reoffending.
We are recruiting 2 Centre Assistants who will be enthusiastic members of our team and will assist with the day to day running of the centre.
You will work closely with the Northampton Women’s Centre team to deliver high quality
person centered support to women using the centre and who are any stage of the criminal justice system. The women we support have varying needs, including mental health difficulties, domestic abuse, substance misuse, debt and homelessness and much more.
The post holder will need to work as an active team player, with an understanding of the criminal justice system, and will have an understanding of some the issues faced by our service users, including substance misuse and mental health issues. The Centre Assistant will be responsible for providing a welcoming environment for those accessing the centre, motivating and encouraging the women and ensuring a safe environment for all. This will be a busy and varied role with scope for progression for the right candidate.

These are temporary posts until March 2024 in the first instance unless further funding is secured.
