Milton Keynes Women's Centre  (20hrs Mon-Fri)

About the role

C2C Social Action supports people at any stage of the criminal justice system with an aim of reducing reoffending.

In our new Milton Keynes Women’s Centre we are recruiting a new enthusiastic member to join our team to assist with the day-to-day running of the centre by supporting women who access our services. You will work in partnership with MK ACT, NHS, ARC, The Probation
Service and a number of other statutory and third sector agencies.

The role involves working closely with the Women’s Centre team to deliver high quality person centered support to women using the centre who are at any stage of the criminal justice system. The women may have varying needs, including mental health difficulties, domestic abuse, substance misuse, debt, homelessness and much more.

The post holder will need to work as an active team player. You will have experience of working with people who have chaotic lifestyles, substance misuse, are at risk of or have offended. You will work with the women to identify areas of need, deliver 1-1 and group work sessions. You will be expected to ensure excellent record keeping and time management, whilst managing your own workload.
